Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SlidePoster ("the Service"), operated by SlidePoster ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SlidePoster is an online tool that enables users to create Instagram carousel posts, manage content projects, and publish or schedule posts to their connected Instagram accounts. The Service is available at slideposter.com.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

  • The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Plan features and limits are described on our Pricing page.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes take effect.

5. User Content

  • You retain all ownership rights to content you create or upload to the Service ("User Content").
  • By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service to you.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your User Content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

6. Instagram Integration

  • The Service allows you to connect your Instagram Business or Creator account to publish content directly.
  • By connecting your Instagram account, you authorize us to publish content to Instagram on your behalf.
  • You are responsible for complying with Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines when publishing content through our Service.
  • We are not responsible for any actions taken by Instagram/Meta regarding your account or content.
  • You may disconnect your Instagram account at any time through the Settings page.

7. Scheduled Posting

  • The scheduled posting feature is available to Pro, Agency, and Lifetime plan subscribers.
  • While we make reasonable efforts to publish scheduled posts at the designated time, we do not guarantee exact timing due to factors including API rate limits, token expiration, or service disruptions.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your Instagram access token remains valid. Tokens may expire or be revoked by Instagram.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by SlidePoster and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLIDEPOSTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SlidePoster operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
