2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials via our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).
- Content Data: Text, images, logos, and other media you upload or create using our carousel editor.
- Payment Data: Billing information is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages viewed, features used, and interaction patterns to improve the Service.
- Device Data: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
2.3 Third-Party Integrations
- Instagram / Meta: When you connect your Instagram account, we receive an access token and your Instagram username. We use this solely to publish content you create to your Instagram account on your behalf. We do not access your private messages, followers list, or any data beyond what is required for content publishing.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To process your transactions and manage your subscription
- To publish content to Instagram on your behalf when you initiate a post or schedule one
- To communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, and support
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Supabase (database & auth), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Railway (hosting), and Meta/Instagram (publishing) — each under their respective privacy policies.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure token storage, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Instagram Data Deletion
You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from the Settings page. When you disconnect, we immediately delete your Instagram access token and username from our systems. You may also request complete data deletion by contacting us at privacy@slideposter.com.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
