How to Delete Your Data

SlidePosters ("we", "us") respects your right to control your personal data. You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

Option 1: Delete from Your Account

1. Log into your SlidePosters account at slideposter.com
2. Go to Settings
3. Click Delete Account
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

This will immediately delete your account and all associated data, including:

• Your profile and login credentials
• All saved projects and generated carousels
• Instagram connection data and access tokens
• Scheduled posts (any pending posts will be cancelled)
• Subscription and billing records (subject to legal retention requirements)

Option 2: Email Us

Send an email to support@slideposter.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account.

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation once your data has been deleted.

Instagram / Meta Data

If you connected your Instagram account to SlidePosters, we store a limited access token and your Instagram user ID solely for publishing content on your behalf. When you delete your account or disconnect Instagram:

• Your Instagram access token is permanently deleted from our systems
• Your Instagram user ID and username are removed
• We do not retain any Instagram content or follower data

You can also revoke SlidePosters' access from your Instagram settings at any time by going to Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites → Active and removing SlidePosters.

What We Retain

After account deletion, we may retain certain data as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax/accounting purposes) for up to 7 years. This retained data is not used for any other purpose and cannot be accessed through our services.
